Thermal interfaces are not exclusively linked to their thermal functions, but are also responsible for attaching an electrical connection, particularly as Die Attach. The selection of suitable materials is increasing and can be characterized both thermally and electrically by us.
On the pulse of time
Materials in electronics do not fulfill strictly functionally restricted roles, but must convince in all disciplines. For example, a soldering layer has to provide not only a thermal connection in order to dissipate heat effectively but also mechanical strength and electrical contacting. Gap fillers, as another example, must provide a stable thermal contact via a large number of mechanical alternating loads and must not cause electrical short circuits. In other applications, materials must be completely insulating - thermally and electrically.
For bulk materials we offer the determination of the electrical conductivity by means of transient electrical method and thus complete the picture you get from your material.
